Artist's Description
Nothing says Spring in Texas like a field of Bluebonnets in bloom. This painting was inspired by a photograph that I took near Spurger Texas in 2012 at the height of bluebonnet season. Painted on stretched canvas with a foam core back and hanging wire, this original piece now belongs to my good friend, Kathleen D!

Thank you, Stuart :) It has been a while since I worked with traditional media, but it felt good to get messy again!
